Awesome sites #1

I stumbled upon a lot of awesome sites recently and i wanted to share all of them in one place. Enjoy the awesomeness!

1. Web Platform

This is open community of developers building resources for a better web, regardless of brand, browser or platform. Anyone can contribute and the idea is to drive innovation on the Web.

2. Creative Market

I waited for this one a lot, it should be the first serious alternative to Themeforest, the concept of digital market platform is slightly different. Creative Market used all of the Themeforest flaws to make something better, there are some cool things that we see for first time. It just got launched, you should check it out.

3. The Code Player

This is an awesome idea for learning front-end technologies easier. I don’t know how exactly to explain it, for every tutorial the coding process is recorded and then played back like a video with output rendering, so you can see the results of the code.

4. Noob Ninja

This is also a good find, it’s a new type of way to learn Web Design/Development. You can either be sensei or noob-ninja, as a noob-ninja you post what you want to  learn, couple of sensei’s offer you their services for some kind of price. When you choose one, he explains you everything on Skype.

In the end, as e noob-ninja you can easily learn useful things, as a sensei you can make some money from consulting and teaching.

5. Kim Dotcom

This is not design related, it’s just the site of the Internet entrepreneur Kim Dotcom, a guy who changed his name to .com, founder of Megaupload, a millionaire but still is 1# on the leaderboard of MW3. Very interesting person, check his site where he sends message to the president of USA.

6. Try Design Lab

They give you series of weekly challenges, intended to train you in various aspects of design thinking and execution.

Each Project challenge includes resources from around the web that will help you learn about area of design. You’ll also see a gallery of work from your peers on each project. After you upload you get feedback from experts and your peers.
